- Disability Linkage Line
The Disability Linkage Line can be reached statewide by calling toll-free, 1-866-333-2466. An Option Counselor will be available during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m) to provide one-to-one assistance to help people learn about their options and connect with the supports and services they choose. There is no wrong call to the Disability Linkage Line. Inquiries include requests for information and referrals on disability benefits programs, home modifications, assistive technology, personal assistance services, transition services, accessible housing, employment, social activities and disability rights.
- Social Security Disability
The Social Security and Supplemental Security Income disability programs are the largest of several Federal programs that provide assistance to people with disabilities. While these two programs are different in many ways, both are administered by the Social Security Administration and only individuals who have a disability and meet medical criteria may qualify for benefits under either program. - Senior Linkage Line
“Senior LinkAge Line® is a free telephone information and assistance service, which makes it easy for older adults and their families to find community services. With a single call, people can find particular services near them or get help evaluating their situation to determine what kind of service might be helpful. - Veterans Linkage Line
The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) offers the LinkVet call center provided by trained staff. During business hours, MDVA staff will provide information on veterans’ benefits, healthcare, education, and reintegration. The line will roll to Crisis Connection counselors for 24-hour, seven days a week coverage (including holidays) for immediate crisis intervention and psychological counseling. - Work Incentives Connection
The Work Incentives Connection is a program of Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota, serving people with all types of disabilities throughout Minnesota. The Connection provides answers about the impact of work on benefits, so that people with disabilities can see their choices and take advantage of life’s opportunities.
