According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics U.S. Department of Labor, as of September 2011, the labor force was comprised of 21% of people with disabilities and 69% of people without disabilities. There is a disproportionately higher unemployment rate for people with disabilities in the United States and the same is true in Minnesota as well.
