And … it’s a wrap! The Minnesota State Fair 2019 saw record attendance, and we had many visitors at the Minnesota Council on Disability (MCD) booth! Some of them are pictured in our blog post!
Wednesday, August 28 is Read & Ride Day at the Fair. Guests with a valid public library card receive discounted admission prices. Visit the stage shows and join the family fun at Dan Patch Park. Remember, the Minnesota State Fair is committed to providing equal access and a pleasant experience for all guests. Accessibility services are offered to ensure that the Great Minnesota Get-Together is for Everyone.
Aug. 26, 2019 is Mental Health & Wellness Awareness Day at the Minnesota State Fair. Long-time MCD partner, activist and mental health champion, Kate Eifrig impresses all who meet her. Her tenacity, her integrity and her ability to communicate how she lives with chronic and exhausting depression and PTSD to raise awareness makes her the perfect partner today as we join the MN State Fair’s activities to bring awareness to mental health and wellness.
