  • Learned stereotypes that are automatic, unintentional, deeply ingrained, universal, and able to influence behavior.
  • Disability implicit bias or unconscious bias refers to stereotypes or beliefs that affect our actions in a discriminatory manner.
  • We have a bias when, rather than being neutral, we have a preference for (or aversion to) a person or group of people.
