2022 Public Policy Agenda
The Council’s policy work revolves around three core values: accessibility, equity, and independence. Learn more about the specific state legislative bills and policies that MCD is championing.
The 2022 Virtual Legislative Forum is an opportunity for MCD to present our priorities for the next legislative session. We’ve invited legislators to share with the community how they plan to promote these agenda items.
The 2021 Legislative Session begins on January 5th and ends on May 17th. Follow the progress of MCD legislative initiatives at the State Capitol through weekly updates from Public Policy Director Trevor Turner.
Notice: Due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Minnesota Legislature is operating differently. The Minnesota Council on Disability will post legislative updates as timely as possible.
