Understanding implicit bias and its influence (webinar)

October 13, 2017

Learn what implicit bias is and how to reduce its influence.

Join the Minnesota Department of Human Rights for a webinar on Implicit Bias at 2 p.m. on Oct. 25. The webinar is part of the MDHR Workforce Series, which will continue through 2018.

Implicit bias refers to the attitudes or stereotypes that affect our understanding, actions and decisions in an unconscious manner. Employers, business owners, human resource professionals, state contractors will gain a better understanding of the impact implicit bias has in employment and how to address the issue through awareness and training.

This webinar is the fourth in the series. Other topics have included Building an Inclusive Workforce, Strengthening and Diversifying Minnesota’s Workforce, and Internships and Apprentices.
